Dear FPCLA,
In today’s revised common lectionary daily reading (Mark 2:1), Jesus returned home after starting his ministry by getting baptized by John the Baptist and calling his first disciples and healing many. It made me ask what home was to me. Is it where my family lives? Is it where my friends live? Is it where my partner lives? Some associate a physical home, but for me home is where it is safe and where the people I love live. Jesus often went to homes to show his love and care. I hope we can open our homes and our hearts for others especially those that need love.
