Dear FPCLA,
Was there a teacher that made a difference in your life? We all hear of stories of amazing teachers going out of their way to care for their students. It is heart warming to hear about the sacrifices and passion they have. I know for me it was Prof. Margaret who challenged us to read books like The Bluest Eye and to share our personal stories. She would invite us to read our stories out loud to the classrooms. We laughed and cried and shared. In Mark 4, Jesus teaches the multitudes by the seaside. He taught in stories in the form of parables so that Jewish individuals could understand and put themselves into the stories. I hope and pray we can teach and make a difference in other peoples’ lives.
